Yet even more rumors…
By: Steven | June 11th, 2007The president of Steaua Bucharest has apparently told local TV outlets that Dorin Nicolae Goian, a 26-year old defender, will leave the club to sign a new contract with Dortmund.
According to Wikipedia (as I know nothing about this guy), he’s scored three goals in 55 appearances for Steaua, along with one goal in 10 appearances for Romania. Interesting indeed.
Knowing Dortmund though (and assuming this rumor is true), they’ll probably overpay the transfer fee and spend somewhere around €5million on this guy.
I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.

Is he supposed to replace Christoph Metzelder then?

That would be my guess. I think it’d be tough to replace someone like Metzelder, though. It’ll be interesting to see how this all plays out.
