Rozehnal transfer saga turns BVB’s way
By: Steven | June 13th, 2007Oh how the tables have turned. After what appeared to be an imminent signing for Newcastle United, it now looks like David Rozehnal is favoring Borussia Dortmund after all.
Pavel Zika, Rozehnal’s agent, has said that he believes the 26-year old is favoring Dortmund, but he “doesn’t want to speak for him [Rozehnal]“. Zika went on to say that he expects Rozehnal’s future to be decided within the next 24 hours.
Paris St. Germain are reportedly looking for €5.5million for Rozehnal, and Newcastle’s bid fell well short of that mark. Hopefully BVB can put in a good offer for the player and bring him to the Westfalenstadion as Metzelder’s replacement.

Great news.
Talking about transfer rumors:
http://www.celtic.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=69485This guy is pretty optimistic about a possible Frei to Celtic move…

I’m not buying it. Frei is too valuable to Dortmund at the moment. He was joint-second top scorer in the league and seemed to be the only person on the team capable of scoring goals.
Celtic would have to offer Dortmund a heck of a lot of money, and even then I don’t see it happening.
