New BVB jerseys unveiled

By: Steven | May 29th, 2007

Borussia Dortmund have unveiled the new jerseys they will be wearing for the 2007-2008 Bundesliga season. They certainly aren’t horrible, but I’d like to see them on a few players before I make my final decision as to whether or not I like them. Your thoughts?

Oh, P.S. RAG (Dortmund’s jersey sponsor) is giving away one free jersey to each season ticket holder.

I think those are nice! The black and yellow is just a color that works.

I’m not sure I approve of the ass-label. I guess it’s lower back, but still … the team name is only on one place on the jersey, and its that same spot where teenage girls get butterfly tattoos … kind of lame.

They look more like golf shirts than jerseys…not that they’re bad golf shirts, but that’s hardly the same thing. As shirts they’re quite nice. Hopefully they’ll look good on the players, too…

I like them, but don’t you think Rag is an unfortunate name for a shirt sponsor?

Yeah, RAG is pretty bad. This year’s jerseys had a yellow exclamation mark on a green square as the sponsor logo because RAG hadn’t come up with one yet. It was pretty awful. Hopefully they have something better for this year’s strip.

I like them a lot more then last season’s kit of white and yellow strips.

I always thought this years sponsor was a hand holding up a yellow card…it was pretty bad…but I definetely like these shirts.
