A Borussia Dortmund fan has won a lottery worth €500million, and he is expected to donate all of it to the club!

Just kidding. But BVB will be receiving approximately €1.38million from the Bundesliga (as will the other 35 Bundesliga clubs) due to a surplus of funds from the 2006 FIFA World Cup.

Every little bit helps, I guess…

  Well, the surplus was 105 million euros. 50 went to the DFB, 50 went to the League Association, and the remaining 5 is going to “social organizations provided by the DFB”. So in actuality, only 50/105 million was distributed.
