Mohamed Zidan is pleased with life in Dortmund
By: Tucker | January 14th, 2009
Per Bild, Mohamed Zidan is not only pleased with life in Dortmund but expressed his dissatisfaction of his time in Hamburg. With particular reference to Hamburg’s former coach Hubb Stevens, now of PSV he noted how he, “was a total outsider.” However all that has changed and the talented Egyptian international enjoys a great relationship with Jürgen Klopp and all his teammates. Great news for Die Schwarzgelben as they head into the second half of the season.

I thought that Zizzou is/was immensely talented and never quite got a fair shot with Stevens. I think in the HSV dressing room last year, you were one of Huub’s boys or you weren’t, and Zizzou was not–he favored defensive minded players. I think that if he had stuck around this season under Jol, he would have been successful.

Tucker, some papers here in Spain are linking Alexander Frei with a move here to Sevilla. Have you heard anything about this?

Tamim, we return to Bundesliga play on the final day of January against Leverkusen and two days before against Werder in DFB Cup.
Chris, I agree with you a lot of things can be said of Hubb Stevens demeanor.
Anthony, there are many rumours of him moving but nothing that can be substantiated.
