good debut for Kevin-Prince Boateng
By: Tucker | January 17th, 2009
While Kevin-Prince Boateng has been with BVB less than a week, he has fit in perfectly with the club and looks at home with Jürgen Klopp’s tactical plan. In his first match for Die Schwarzgelben, an comfortable friendly against VfL Osnabrück, he took his role in the right side of the midfield and provided Nuri Şahin the ball with a nice pass before the Turkish international scored.
Jürgen Klopp was obviously impressed with his new midfielder saying, “he has the toughness and is absolutely in great shape physically.” As the club left training camp this morning he lauded heavy praise on his new German U21 international as well as younger reserve players, Yasin Öztekin, Christopher Kullmann, Damir Vrancic, Marc Hornschuh and Tolgay Arslan.
