Superleague Formula gets BVB-ed

By: Steven | July 22nd, 2007

tinga_carIf they can’t win the Bundesliga, maybe they’ll be able to tear it up on the race track.

Yes, Borussia Dortmund will now have their very own car in the Superleague Formula.

Unveiled by Thomas Doll and captain Christian Wörns, the BVB car is a slick-looking machine decked out in yellow and black (of course!). The club logo is situated nicely on the front end of the car, so there’s no mistake about who the car belongs to!

“We are delighted to welcome Borussia Dortmund to the championship and thrilled to add another country of football fans to the Superleague Formula family,” said Superleague Formula founder Alex.

Apparently he wasn’t the only one who was delighted to have the BVB car in the circuit though, as Tinga (pictured) was thrilled to get behind the wheel. Anyone else thinking about Sanka in Cool Runnings when they see that picture? I just hope Tinga doesn’t have a lucky egg, too…
