Diego Klimowicz officially joins VfL Bochum

Diego Klimowicz’s transfer to VfL Bochum is now complete. The thirty-four year old striker will join join Marcel Koller and based upon his playing history will undoubtedly have an immediate positive impact with the club.

In leaving BVB Chairman Hans-Joachim Watzke, Sport Director Michael Zorc and coach Jürgen Klopp sung out praise for the Argentine striker, citing his professionalism and wished him the best of fortune.

VfL Bochum’s board member Thomas Ernst welcomed him accordingly saying:

“This kind of striker is exactly what we need and we are particularly happy that he explicitly wanted to come to VfL Bochum. Moreover we are certain that his character really is in line with our club and our team.”
