Die Schwarzgelben infirmary report

By: Tucker | October 23rd, 2008

With Westfalenstadion expecting 65,000 for the Berliners visit, Jürgen Klopp is fasting a nasty set five possible omissions from the lineup that will dampen the match considerably if not cleared up in time.

Of significant concern Alexander Frei is striken with the flu and it kept the Swiss international out of practice yesterday. Polish sharpshooter Jakub Błaszczykowski was beaten up from internationals and the Bremen match. He is noted as being “covered with bruises” and given a few days off but while his status is unclear, he’s gritty tough and the chances of him missing the match are between “slim and none” in my opinion. However always looking to find the dark clouds behind the silver lining Robert Kovac’s calf injury that pulled him out of last weeks match is still a concern and his return is dicey. Things aren’t so clear with Tinga and Tamas Hajnal who are both fighting muscle strains and are likely to need extra time to heal.

I’ve been waiting for this blog to get going. Nice to see you on-board. BTW, nice graphics work – better than the clubs.
