BVB’s chance for European Football

By: Tucker | May 22nd, 2009

Jürgen Klopp’s message is loud and clear and for any Footballer, you’ve heard it before. Everything is on the line and yesterday is forgotten, it is your chance to rise to the top.

Die Schwarzgelben visit Gladbach tomorrow in a death battle to the finish. For the home-side it could mean survival and BVB is fighting for the improbably charge that has lead them to foot of European football. Push beyond the tactics, forget the place in the table, this will be the ultimate of matches with everything on the line.

Tensions will run high and given Gladbach’s style of man marking and with tenacious veteran players such as Tomáš Galásek, this is likely to be very tight, physical match. Injuries shouldn’t be a problem as Alexander Frei and Tamás Hajnal are expected to be able to go after modest concerns last week.

One match Dortmunders and Europe is ours!

This is by far the most important game of the season. I hope i can watch it. There is a chance I will be busy while the game is on here.
