B1 derby

VfL Bochum makes the short fifteen minute journey on the B1 to face BVB at Westfalenstadion with an expected crowd of 70,000 watching. The clubs come into the this intense derby going in opposite directions as Vfl is winless in their previous six matches while Borussia Dortmund is unbeaten during the same period and have won five of the last six matches at home versus VfL. However although it has been an ugly start of the season for Marcel Koller’s squad, BVB is wary.
Jürgen Klopp said of them:
“They did not steal that point from Munich, they deserved it win a good fight. And no other Bundesliga team was as close to keeping Hoffenheim under control as Bochum was until now.”
Against FC Köln they employed a 4-2-3-1 but with the suspension of Christoph Dabrowski, BVB is aware they may flip to a 4-4-2. BVB will be missing Marc-André Kruska, Dedê and Marcel Schmelzer while Stanislav Šesták and Matias Concha are out for the visitors, along with Christoph Dabrowski on suspension.
Although this won’t be an easy match, at the end of the day BVB will take the three points.
