Write for BVB Offside

By: Daryl | June 16th, 2009

With the season over, Tucker has decided to leave the Borussia Dortmund blog. Big thanks to him for all his efforts.

But now we need someone to step up and replace him.

If you think you’ve got what it takes to captain Borussia Dortmund Offside, then have a read of our bloggers guidelines and then contact daryl[at]theoffside[dot]com

Rayaa, email Daryl all of that to daryl[at]theoffside[dot]com

Not just Bundesliga bloggers Chris, everyone seems to be dropping out. All my favorite teams (Bilbao, Siena, Ajax, Rangers, PSG, and all of Belgium) don’t have bloggers =(

At least the HSV blog is going strong ;)

I don’t have the journalism or soccer pedigree to write for the blog, but i can guarantee the next author at least one reader.

And i even watch all the games. This next year should be a blast.

njbvb, next time there is a good blogger maybe we all should comment because this blog was f___ing ignored for months without readers comments (check through archives).

I don’t know if you will ever read this Tucker (and other Bundesliga bloggers) but you wrote a great blog and hope to find you all online somewhere. Because of you I am watching Bundesliga for the first time so thanks (danke?)

This was the best english blog on BVB online and I guess he was German and local, does anyone know if that is true? F___ this sucks he left.

tried to enter this a few times but real sad to see this guy go. He was a great writer and I guess from his comments he was at all the games.

Next time maybe we should all comment more because this blog was f___ing ignored for months (check archives). Cant you get this guy and the others back? This is why I’m into Bundesliga now.

easy on the language Jurgen, but we get your point. Yeah i should have commented earlier in the year but i did follow the blog. I’m glad you’re watching the games online. I did that all last year and it was a blast (although 9:30am saturday wakeups are not fun).

I hope we get someone good. I’d really like to know where tucker winds up so i can follow him in the future.

    Go BVB!

Great news for all you BVB followers and fans: Lucas Barrios will sign a four-year contract. After the medical check this weekend, he will be officially introduced on Monday. He was the world’s top striker in 2009 and scored 37 goals in 38 matches for Colo Colo. I saw his goals on Youtube and I am thrilled. Great skills, very fast, and cold as ice in front of goal. After Frei’s departure, this is a huge boost for BVB’s temporarily mediocre offense. With our great young defense and players like resurgent Nuri Sahin, Kehl, Tamas Hajnal and Kuba this team is most likely very competitive in spite of the huge investments by other Bundesliga teams this summer.
